Congratulations to the winners of the First Annual Michigan Yoga Expo held last June in Farmington Hills: Monica Kaltreider of Beverly Hills and Tim Fraleigh of Ann Arbor! The two will travel to LA in September to represent Michigan in Bikram's first World Yoga Expo! Now you may be asking what is the World Yoga Expo? Well, Bikram Choudhury himself has put together a four-day event in Los Angeles celebrating yoga and alternative health lifestyles. The Expo includes seminars and speakers with the likes of Deepak Choprah and Dr. Anne Maire Benstrom, as well as every major medical association in the United States, including the AMA. Contestants from around the world will be demonstrating their practices in the yoga competition, which Monica and Tim will be competing in. Lock the knee, Monica and Tim!
